FAQ

Who should apply?

To be a good fit for ODDB, you are probably:

  • A leader in BD/Partnerships with 5+ years of relevant experience who would benefit from the authentic relationships forged with other strategic-minded leaders.
  • Open to seeking the support, coaching, and mentorship required to scale yourself and your company.
  • Willing to share your experiences, challenge assumptions, expand your perspectives, and raise the bar for yourself and others. You’re committed to lifelong learning and a spirit of service to others.
I already have a great network and limited time for other commitments. What can ODBD provide that I can’t find elsewhere?

ODBD is a community unlike any you’ve come across - it connects top-tier business development leaders from all over the world who are innovating through strategic partnerships and building world class teams for which playbooks don’t exist, and who would benefit most from learning and growing together.

We curate all programming and connections to maximize your value and time spent during the fellowship. You can dive into everything the fellowship has to offer, or opt in only to what best suits your goals and time.

ODBD will provide you with the opportunity to exchange practical frameworks and build deep connections with a highly-curated group of peers.

What is the time commitment?

Expect 2-3 hours per week of programming for the first 4 weeks (it’s up to you how much you join!), followed by 1-3 hours/month for the remainder of the year. The fellowship is designed for you to opt-in to what suits your goals and time. We recognize that everyone in the community is a time-scarce and we aim to accommodate as best as we can while respecting our fellows’ time.

Are there scholarships or financing options available?

Our goal is to make the Fellowship accessible to the absolute best talent, no matter their financial situation. Please reach out to us at odbd@beondeck.com to discuss your personal situation.

All Fellows have the option to pay in four monthly installments (with no interest or additional charges). We also have a limited number of scholarships available thanks to our Access Fund. Information about scholarship applications will be provided to accepted Fellows closer to the kickoff date.

Is this a fully remote program? Can I participate from anywhere in the world?

Yes - ODBD will be run entirely remotely. This enables participation from all corners of the world. We've mastered the playbook for building engaging remote communities through multiple On Deck fellowships and will apply the same approach here.

As the year progresses, we’ll be hosting offline events like dinners, small gatherings, and retreats in major cities, but the core Fellowship will remain a remote-first experience.

What happens after the first year of membership?

After one year of membership, you will have the opportunity to renew your membership. If you choose not to renew your membership, you will no longer have access to On Deck platforms, networks, and content. To regain access, you’ll have to re-apply for a future fellowship.

Did we miss your question? Drop us a line and we will get back to you asap.
