Life after @beondeck is crazy good! The network is so powerful. @Auroreserete’s ODF cohort hasn’t even started yet and despite that she has helped me connect with 4 potential customers in completely new/different markets in record time. Thank you!

Louis Pereira

The @beondeck Writer Fellowship was so good that I needed a second helping.

Thrilled to be joining their #NoCode fellowship next month.

It's time to build!

Kai Faust

My experience with On Deck in 2020:

- Several deep friendships and that I expect to last a lifetime.

- Warm intros to customers, talent and advisors.

- Access to capital (Raised $100K+ during ODF6)

- $20K+ in perks (AWS, DocSend, and more)

I kinda feel like crying. So grateful.

Cameron Prouse

Only 1 week into's First 50 Fellowship program and I am soooo totally blown away.

Can't wait to get at it tomorrow for week 2!

Dipti Desai

@beondeck has created an unparalleled product, community & a loyal, authentic member base like I’ve never seen before. In my time in SV I’ve seen many attempts at creating communities large & small. On Deck is magical because the team behind it is just relentless & good people.💕

Enzo Cavalie

The fellowship still hasn't started and I just received gold nuggets.

Crazy how @beondeck is able to attract talented people with a great willingness to share and help others.

Matt Restivo

I thought I knew talented people. Then I joined @beondeck.

Shiku Wangombe

Shoutout to the community for the feedback when I shared this internally.

So many people willing to help and everyone is excited to learn from each other. I love this community.

Griff Foxley

Said it before, will say it again. On Deck Writers Fellowship continues to be a profound learning community of electric content and collaboration. Can't recommend enough.

David Hoang

I’m so glad I decided to do @beondeck’s writing fellowship. The weekly writing workshops are so helpful. In addition to the writing, it’s great connecting with other writers and brainstorming.

One idea is called “Design Management: Year One.”

The power of @beondeck - sent in a question about dealing with a difficult personal situation. Within 20 minutes, 4 people offered to share their personal stories in depth and 2 offered general perspective.

Madison Kanna

Joining the @beondeck community was one of the highlights of my year!

Grateful to be apart of it and excited for 2021 🚀

Sunil Rajaraman

I'm decently networked in tech. But I joined @beondeck on the advice of @hnshah and @tylerwillis. I learned that networks need refreshing.

On Deck opened me up to a new set of amazing people I will invest in, be friends with, and follow for life.

Parthi Loganathan

Excited for @beondeck's writer fellowship kickoff today! Did the original fellowship and here I am again as a repeat customer.

They're building the best communities for every niche.

Miguel Solano

Maybe biased but @beondeck's ODF may well be the closest today to early YC in the Cambridge days.

The On Deck Method

We're building a modern educational institution that redefines how community and learning come together. Being part of any On Deck program means you’ll have access to a community of world-class professionals. With every new program we launch and cohort we start, your network gets stronger.

Here are the cornerstones of the On Deck experience:

Deep Friendships

Our virtual fellowship programs provide members with community, education, and support. This is a place for cohort-style learning, but also deep personal connections.

Unparalleled Knowledge

There are limitless opportunities for learning and sharing here. You’ll get access to expert speakers, office hours, build weekends, and our session library full of curated content. Dig in!

Community Diversity

We’re proud to have a community diverse in culture, thought, and life experiences. This enables revolutionary ideas, inclusive solutions, and boundless growth opportunities.

Scaled With Software

We’re building in-house tools to improve how we share community knowledge, aligned opportunities, and helpful connections.

Engineered Serendipity

When everyone is going through a shared experience and seeking similar goals, incredible things happen.

Spirit of Service

One of the things we love most about our community is how willing and excited members are to support one another. This spirit is the strong heartbeat of the On Deck community.

Apply for On Deck Catalyst

The second cohort kicks off September 11. Access to the program is $2,490 (four installments of $625) — limited number of need-based scholarships available.

Who should apply?

To be a good fit for ODC, we're not looking for a particular role or background. You may be a founder, investor, or have any role in the tech industry. The most important qualities are:

  • Unapologetic ambition — You're career-driven and want to have a massive impact on the world
  • Independent thinker — You are willing to take the less-safe route, maybe even look dumb for a few years, to have a better payoff in the future
  • Humility & spirit of service — You don't take yourself too seriously, you believe there's something to learn from everyone, and you love giving back

You might look like...

  • A college dropout who built a nuclear fusion reactor in your basement
  • A new grad who's working for a prominent solo GP as you build your own investing track record on the side
  • A B2B SaaS startup founder who feels isolated as you scale your team beyond 50 employees
  • A young longevity researcher looking to get plugged into Silicon Valley in the cloud after years in academia
  • Or something else! Tell us your unique story, we would love to hear it.
What does it cost?

Joining ODC is $2,490.. We have limited scholarships available for each cohort thanks to our Access Fund. Information about scholarship applications will be provided to accepted Fellows closer to the kickoff date.

Are there scholarships or financing options available?

Our goal is to make the Fellowship accessible to the absolute best talent, no matter their financial situation.

All Fellows have the option to pay in four monthly installments (with no interest or additional charges). We also have a limited number of scholarships available thanks to our Access Fund. Information about scholarship applications will be provided to accepted Fellows closer to the kickoff date. We have need-blind admissions, so decisions about scholarship opportunities will be presented post-acceptance.

What is the time commitment?

ODC is a choose-your-own-adventure buffet. You get out what you put in: often, the biggest contributors are also the biggest beneficiaries.

Depending on your schedule and interests, you might...

  • Attend the majority of live sessions, chat in Slack all day, and meet 15 new fellows a week in 1-on-1 calls
  • Tune in at your leisure, attending a couple of sessions that interest you each week and connecting with people based on specific similarities
  • Search Slack and the Directory to find the specific people and sessions you want to engage with, but otherwise take a lighter approach.

You can do what works for you! Most ODC Fellows have full-time jobs or startups, so our programming is designed with that in mind.

When are applications reviewed?

We offer rolling admissions for Catalyst so the sooner you apply, the sooner you can be accepted into the cohort. As the cohort does fill up throughout the application period, we encourage you to apply early so that you have a better chance of being accepted.

In particular, if you apply by the Early-Bird deadline (July 13, 2021), you will definitely be considered for the upcoming cohort. If you wait until the final deadline (August 10, 2021), the cohort may fill up and you will be considered for the following cohort.

Can I participate from anywhere in the world?

Yes: ODC will be run entirely remotely. This enables participation from all corners of the world. We’ve spent the past year mastering the playbook for building remote communities and relationship building online, and will apply the same approach here.

Post-COVID, we’ll return to organizing offline programming like dinners, small gatherings, and retreats, but the core Fellowship will remain a remote-first experience.

Did we miss your question? Drop us a line and we will get back to you asap.
