Who should apply?

To be a good fit for ODS, you are probably:

  • A highly motivated founder of a venture-scale company who would benefit from the authentic relationships forged with other growth-oriented founders.
  • Open to seeking the support, coaching, and mentorship required to scale yourself and your company.
  • Willing to share your experiences, challenge assumptions, expand your perspectives, and raise the bar for yourself and others .
  • Committed to lifelong learning and a spirit of service to others.

What does it cost?

The annual membership cost of On Deck Scale is $10,000 or 4 monthly installments of $2,750, starting when you accept the offer.

What if I'm too early? What if I'm too late?

We are committed to identifying and supporting the very best founders at every stage of company growth from Seed to IPO who have demonstrated strong signs of product-market fit. We’ll group founders appropriately based on company stage and other relevant factors. Founders who have not raised capital should consider applying to the On Deck Fellowship. 

What is the time commitment? Will this be a distraction?

Everything in On Deck Scale is opt-in, meaning you only participate in programming that’s relevant to you. Between attending sessions, meeting other fellows 1:1, and curated mastermind groups you can expect to spend ~2-3 hours per week engaging with the program. We recognize that everyone in the community is a time scarce scaling founder and we accommodate as best we can while respecting our fellows’ time.

We have purposefully structured the program with your busy schedules in mind, allowing for structured content, a speaker series, and more curated small group sessions pairing those with challenges to those who have solved them before. We will also engage asynchronously on Slack. This structure will continue throughout the annual membership.

Are there minimum capital or revenue requirements to apply?

We’re accepting applications from CEOs of seed stage companies to IPO. Seed stage CEOs must have raised at least $2.5M in the last six months or achieved $100k MRR run rate.

I’m fairly well connected and plugged into other communities, do I need this?

Having access and building meaningful relationships are very different. ODS will bring value to any founder committed to significant learning and personal growth, expanding their network and personal influence, and becoming a better leader. While the On Deck network is large and continually expanding, On Deck Scale is designed to help you scale yourself as fast as you’re scaling your company.

Can I participate from anywhere in the world?

Our Fellows come from around the world, however, a majority of the sessions are most conveniently accessible in timezones across North America, South America, and Europe. 

Can non-founding CEOs apply?

Yes. If you are a CEO of a scaling startup, we welcome you to apply!

Can founders who are not CEOs apply?

We ask that only CEOs of venture-scale companies apply.

What happens after the first year of membership?

After one year of membership, you will have the opportunity to renew your membership. If you choose not to renew your membership, you will no longer have access to On Deck platforms, networks, and content.
